Black Hill on Snowy Ground, HK Art Centre Public Toilet

5 architects were invited each responsible for refurbishing the bathrooms on one public level of the Hong Kong Art Centre. We picked the UB bathrooms which accompanied the Agnès b. theatre - a popular spot for film-lovers. Our idea is to continue the cinematic atmosphere to this corner of the floor, to the private spaces inside toilets, by setting up a scenic ‘second nature’- a “Black Hill on Snowy Ground”.
