Tsui Ping River
The Tsui Ping nullah area is located in the east border of the future East Kowloon CBD. It has an unique character of intimacy and a diverse neighborhood. The area is turning into a fresh vibrant district with organic local energy and newly injected businesses. Amidst this evolution, the revitalization of the Tsui Ping River provides a one-off opportunity to reshape the city into an ideal and habitable setting for people and to foster the change for a better lifestyle.

We propose “The Run” campaign to cover a series of aspects - nullah and park hardware improvement and beautification, urban integration, street furniture proposals, art and events program, and arousal of public awareness.

“The Run!” campaign believes in the healthy and lively city as a driving force for the happiness and benefit of the citizens. It captures the changing energy of the district by transforming the nullah into the main artery of the revitalization with its running water to nurture the relationship between the residents and their ecological environment.

We have identified four sections for the River Park, according to the character of the water, the urban setting and the social context: Stream School, Delta Deck, Water Wonder, and Estuary Ecstasy.
